I’m a freelance writer who lives in the middle of nowhere. In fact, my hometown has been called a modern-day Mayberry more than once. The sidewalks are rolled up promptly at 5 o’clock, the only traffic light is on the main highway and there isn’t a fast food joint for twenty minutes in any direction. But, we like it that way.

Being a writer means that I’m also a reader. I’ll read anything, from the Sports page to Smithsonian. And I do a lot of research. I run across all sorts of interesting stuff. My Twitter feed is an eclectic mix ranging from Reuters to Pee Wee Herman.

Sharing the comedy of life is my goal for this blog. There are so many stories out there, just waiting to be told. That what I’m trying to do, one story at a time.
